  • Alexander City
    Memory Makers Quilt Guild.  We have 20 members.  Dues are $12 a year.  We meet on the second and forth Mondays at 6PM in the seniors cabin in the Sportsplex.  We have fat quarter swaps, classes and trips, charity quilts and a yearly raffle quilt.  We also have mroning groups.  Contact mem0rymakers@yahoo.com  for more information.

  • Athens
    Piece Makers Guild. We have about 80 members who pay $15 a year in dues. We meet the first Thursday of each month at the Masonic Lodge on Elm St. We have block swaps,secret pals,classes and do charity work mainly for Hospice of Limestone County.   • Auburn-Opelika. 
    Cotton Boll Quilters meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Auburn. We have several sub-groups: a morning and evening birthday block group, an applique group. Our meetings often include a hands-on program,and show and tell which is a hightlight in our meetings. There are frequent workshops; we make quilts for the local women's shelter, the local hospice facility, and others as the need arises.   • Birmingham
    Heart of Dixie Quilt Guild meets second Monday of each month at First Baptist Church of Trussville in the CLC building; fellowship time begins at 6:30 pm and meeting begins at 7:00 pm.     The Birmingham Quilters Guild  We meet on the 4th Monday of the month at 915 a.m. at the Homewood Civic Center. We have interesting and informative programs each month and bring in 2-3 national speakers each year. Please visit our  website which not only gives information about our guild, but also provides information about our upcoming show this summer. 

    The Evening Star Quilters Guild  We meet at the North Shelby Library on Highway 119 (between Hwy 280 and I-65). Social time 6:30 pm. Meeting starts at 7:00 pm. Contact info@esquilters.com for more information.

    East Jefferson Quilter's Guild. We meet the 4thThursday of each month from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00noon at Trussville Library.  Meetings consist of short business, program or workshop, and show and tell.   • Blount County
    Blount County Quilters Guild The purpose of our guild is to promote and preserve the art and quality of quilts and quilting, through friendship, knowledge and encouragement to others. We meet Tuesdays and Thursdays 10-2 and the Second and fourth Saturdays 10-2, in the Quilter's Cottage, located at Palisades Park, Oneonta, Alabama. Membership dues are $18 the first year, which includes a membership pin, and then $12 each year after that. We offer a family membership price for family members living in the same household. We offer classes to members each month, work on a fund raiser quilt to be raffled off, and a membership quilt to be drawn for each year. We give to many charities including St. Judes and Hospice.

    Batting Brigade Quilt Guild The Shoals (BBQGS). The membership is open to anyone interested in quilts and/or quiltmaking, beginner and experienced alike. Dues are $18 per year and are prorated monthly.     Shoals Piecemakers Quilt Guild meets the 2nd Monday of the Month at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church on Darby Dr., Social Hour 6:30 p.m.Meeting starts at 7:00p.m. Monthly demos or programs. Secret Sisters. Yearly Round Robins & Challenge. Challenges exhibited at Kennedy Douglas Art Center each year. A fun, progressive group that shares the knowledge of quilting with all who attend.  We have 25 members. Dues are $20 per year.     Island Quilters Guild - meets 2nd Wed of each month at the Community House, 300 East 16th Ave Gulf Shores 930 am -1200pm, reg meeting and program. We also meet same location and times 3rd Wed of month for block party - sometype of class and the 4th wed is a sit n quilt. All visitors are welcomed. We're fun group and enjoying meeting others. We have members that live here only in the winter months and we have some that live here year round. We are blessed to have two quilt shop owners in our guild with their shops being in our area. We frequently sponsor nationally-known teachers and lecturers and workshops, and we can promise you will enjoy the show-and-tell featured at each meeting, where our own members show their current projects.     Azalea City Quilters' Guild. Our General Meeting is the second Tuesday of every month at the Springihill Avenue United Methodist Church. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. We have a weekly Block Party, monthly workshops, fabric swaps, Country Store, trips and various quilting bees. We have many community outreach projects and provide educational programs for schools, museums and historic home tours. The ACQG also hosts a biennial quilt show exhibiting 300+ quilts.

    Blount County Quilters' Guild. We have 49 members, including teens,who pay $12 a year in dues. We meet Tuesday and Thursday 10 AM. Also a group meets the second and fourth Saturday of the month at 10 AM. We have a raffle quilt which is given away at our quilt show in October. The money is then given to charities.     Friendship Quilters of St Clair County. We have over 50 members who pay $3 a month in dues; over 65 complimentary. We meet at 10 a.m. on the second Saturday at the Pell City Recreation Center on 19th Street. We have a block of the month swap, fat quarter swap, secret pals, retreats, classes, and an outreach project of prayer quilts to those experiencing life challenges.     Prattville Piecemakers. We were one year old January 2008. We have over 40 members who pay $12 dues annually. We meet at 7pm on the first Thursday of the month at Christ Luthern Church in Prattville. We have trips, monthly door prises, show and tell, quilt classes and work on a charity quilt.
