      Darien Historical Society in Darien We have about 70 members, many very experienced ladies with quilting. We do many projects, including service projects of quilts for AIDS, HOSPICE, etc. About 45 members all skill levels.  Very congenial group.  Speakers, workshops, & some day trips.  Many service projects e.g. NNIC Unit at Stamford Hospital, Birthright, Norwalk, Veteran's, of Rocky Hill, CT, Malta House, Norwalk, Veterans New Haven, AmeriCares, Aids, Hospice, Breast Cancer Groups incl.       Enfield Quilters meets twice a month - workshop night is 2nd Wednesday at the Enfield Senior Center from 6:30pm to 8:00pm and regular meeting is 3rd Wednesday at H.B.       Thames River Quilters meets at 7:00 pm the first Tuesday of the month at St. Lukes Church, Clark Road, Gales Ferry, CT. The dues for the year are $15.00 payable in September.       Common Threads Quilters meet the 2nd & 4th Tuesday evenings (7pm-10pm) each month on the 1st floor of the Greenwich Arts Society/Senior Center, 299 Greenwich Ave., Greenwich, CT (near Exit 3 off I-95). Approx 30 members. Dues: $30/year or $3 per visit. New members & visitors are welcome. Our guild is an informal, international group; we each bring our own projects and enjoy sharing ideas and sewing time together.       Greater Hartford Quilt Guild, Connecticut There are 14 chapters in the  GHQG, as well as many independent members from around the area. We have 750+ members. Guests are always welcome at our chapter meetings. Each year a chapter organizes a members-only Annual Meeting and a Sharing Day. Members also receive our quarterly newsletter Basting Lines, and most local quilt shops offer members a discount at their stores. We have well known speakers, their classes, vendors, and special events at our meetings. Bi-annually we put on a quilt show open to the public featuring members’ quilts, wearables, and dolls, well known speakers, classes, vendors, the GHQG Schoolhouse hands-on and demo area, and a raffle quilt made by a few members. Another benefit for members is the participation in the GHQG retreat held opposite years of the quilt show.       Southford Falls Quilters. Guild Established in 2006, 65 members. $25 yearly dues. We meet at 7pm, the first Friday of the month. Meeting held at Shepardsons Community Center in Middlebury. Raffles each meeting, speakers, show and tell.

    • New Fairfield
      First Monday at the public library in New Fairfield, main road, 7-9pm all are welcome after 15 years, the Calico Cats founded by Linda Decker and Jennfier O'brien of New Fairfield.

    • New Milford
      Mountain Laurel Quilters Guild. We have about 60 members and meet at New Milford High School on the 2nd Thursday of the month (when school is open-meetings mooved to the following Thursday if Holiday). We have a quilt show biannually, block of the month, Spring VT quilting retreat, Mystery Quilt, Challenge quilt, community quilt projects, Show & Tell, vendors at some meetings and interesting lecturers from well known speakers several times a year. Dues $25.00 a year.       Heart of the valley Quilt Guild. We have about 60 active members who pay $25.00 a year in dues. We meet at 7:00 PM on the second thursday of each month at the Portland Senior Center. We have a show & tell program every other month alternating with a speaker/demonstration. we do a yearly charity project, quilt challenges, and a quilter's retreat every other year.

    • Ridgefield
      Nutmeg Quilter's Guild, Inc., Members 300. The Guild meets the 2nd Wednesday of the "odd" months at the Ridgefield Play House located on East Ridge Road, Ridgefield. Doors open at 6:30. Dues are $25 year; guest fee is $5. Workshops, lectures, hands-on meetings, raffles, entry blocks, trips to different quilting events and places of interest.       Farmington Valley Quilters meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month at Eno Memorial Hall, 754 Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury, CT. Social time at 6:45pm, meeting at 7:00. Annual membership $25.00. Guest fee $5.00. Meetings feature nationally know as well as in house quilters giving demonstrations, lectures, and hands-on-workshops. All day Workshops, Quilt Challenges, Friendship Blocks, Service Projects, and Socials are only part of what membership offers. We. welcome everyone who is interest in quilting. Come join us.     • Stamford.
      Museum Quilters. This group has been meeting at the Stamford Museum & Nature Center for over 25 years, producing quilts whose sale benefits the museum. Join us in the Bendel Mansion every Monday morning at 9 AM for quilting and conversation. No dues required. Stamford Museum & Nature Center is located at 39 Scofieldtown Road, Stamford, CT 06903.       The Meetinghouse Quilters are a group of 16 quilters who meet once a month at the First Congregational Church in Washington, CT. and also at members' houses. There are no dues collected. We have sponsored 4 quilt shows at the
      Meetinghouse, made two raffle quilts and have helped raise money for the Connecticut Quilt Search Project. At each meeting we have a show
