Land of Lincoln Quilters Association (LLQA)
Land of Lincoln Quilters Association (LLQA) was formed in 1985 as a statewide guild for Illinois. Meetings are held on a Saturday of February, April, June, August and October at various locations around the state. LLQA newsletter is published six times a year. Illinois Quilt Research Project (IQRP), block exchanges, swaps, challenges, raffles, classes, and retreat are just some of our activities. Dues are $20 a year.

  • Alexis
    The I Luv 2 Quilt Guild meets every third Monday, except in December when there is no meeting. They meet at the Community Center at 7pm.
  • Algonquin
    Algonquin Quilters' Guild. The Algonquin Quilters' Guild meets on the fourth Thursday of each month (third Thursday in November) at the Congregational Church of Algonquin, 109 Washington St., Algonquin. Meeting times are 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The guild is dedicated to promoting the art of quilting and encouraging fellowship among quilters. Members have the opportunity to learn new skills and participate in a wide variety of individual and group projects, including quilt demonstrations, block-of-the-month raffles, monthly "Show and Tell," charity quilts for community organizations, monthly quilt bees, annual quilt retreat, and Christmas party and gift exchange. The guild currently has approximately 35 members, and prospective new members are welcome to attend one free meeting.     Learn & Teach Quilt Guild. Meetings are on the first Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm at the Argenta Fire House. Annual dues are $15.     Northwest Suburban Quilters Guild, Inc. Northwest Suburban Quilters Guild (NSQG) meet monthly on the third Thursday at Concorde Banquets in Kildeer. Doors open at 6:30p.m., meetings start 7:30p.m. Membership from July 2006-June 2007 $36. Guests may visit one time at $7.00.

    Northern Lake County Quilter's Guild   We have a membership of approximately 80 quilters, from novice to expert. Per our mission statement, we promote the art and education of quilting. This is accomplished in many ways including a Quilt Show, a Quilt ‘Challenge’ Contest, Block of The Month Program, Charity Events, Seminars, Small Group Quilting Bees, Retreats and much more!     Hands All Around Quilt Guild. Hands All Around Quilt Guild meets the 1st Thursday of the month, 7pm, at Calvary United Methodist Church,1700 No. Towanda in Normal.     Piecers of the Heartland. We have 50 members who pay $12 a year dues. We meet at 6:30 pm the second Monday of each month at Trinity Lutheran Church in Canton. Activities include Friendship Quilts to benefit charitities, Block-of-the-Month drawings, programs, workshops, 6 newsletters a year, and a show every other year featuring a raffle quilt, bed turning, demonstrations, vendors and members' quilts.     Macoupin Prairie Quilters Guild. We have about 25 members. We pay $25 a year in dues. We meet the second Thursday of each month at 7:00pm at the U of I Extension Office.     Illini Country Stitchers Quilt Guild meets at 7pm on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month except in November (second and third) and December (second only) at the St. Peter's United Church of Christ, 905 S. Russell Street, Champaign, IL . Meetings include workshops, special programs, show and tell and discussions of guild business. Visitors and guests are always welcome.  Dues: Dues are $20 per year for voting privileges and the monthly newsletter. Newsletter only subscription is $15 per year.     The Quilt Connection  is a community of women who meet to share their love of quilting. Where: 3857 N. Kostner Ave. on Thursdays from 1:00 pm to 8:00pm.     Illinois Quilters Inc. meets on the first Thursday of the month from September through June. We have a lecture by a well-known quilter, show and tell, workshops, and a fabulous fiber show. To learn more, check out our website.

    TMB Threaders - hand-quilting club. We meet every Thursday at 6:00 at the Thurgood Marshall Branch Library. 7506 S. Racine 

    Chicago Quilters Quild. We have about 40 members who pay $20 a year in dues. We meet the first Wednesday of the month January through June at 7:00 P.M. in the St Bede the Venerable Church Hall, 8200 S. Kostner Avenue, Chicago, Illinois We have a block of the month and all participants are entered into a drawing for the blocks. We have periodic speakers and all day workshops. We also make and donate baby quilts to needy children.     Needles and Threads Quilters Guild. Guild meets from 10 A.M. - 12 P.M. the 4th Saturday of each month, except December. Meetings are held at Fernwood Park, 10438 S. Wallace. Dues are $15 per year.     Salt Creek Patchmakers Quilt Guild meets every 3rd Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm. Location Kenny Civic Center, Kenny Illinois. Dues $15.00 year. We currently have 50 members. We have a fabric swap, classes and trunk shows, a yearly quilt raffle, We Care Quilts that benefit small children when displaced from their homes by fire or domestic abuse and we do a quilt show every year.     Scrappy Quilters. United Methodist Women chair a community quilt group for anyone interested in the art of quilting. There are no dues. We meet the first Friday and the third Thursday of the month from 9 - 2. We have a sharing time and then work on a group project each month. We meet at the First United Methodist Church, 236 W.     DeKalb County Quilter's Guild, meets the 4th Thursday of each month, 100 members, dues $15. We have bi-annual Quilt Shows, ongoing community projects, feature several national speakers several months each year, as well as in-house programs.

    Petunia City Quilters. We meet the first Monday of the month (second Monday in July and September). There is no meeting in January. We meet a 7 PM at the Loveland Community House, 513 West Second Street. We are a guild with 75 members. We do a Nickel Square exchange, Fat Quarter Lottery, 6" and 12" block exchanges, Round Robins, secret siters,a yearly bus trip and community service projects.     Galesburg. Galesburg Piecemakers Quilt Guild. Our 2008 show will be held Sat, Aug 16 through Sun, Aug 17 at Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg, IL. Vendors, bazaar items for sale, various quilting demos, raffle quilt, and a special Challenge display of wallhangings honoring our members affected by cancer.     G.E.H.S. Quilters' Guild. Meets the third Wednesday of every month at 9:00 a.m. at the Glen Ellyn Civic Center on Duane St. in downtown Glen Ellyn, Illinois. We have a small membership which is continuing to grow but we are capping membership at 50 paid members so that we can remain a more intimate group.     Quilters at Heart.  Organized in 1983, meetings are the 4th Thursday of the month, 7:00 PM in the Railer Room at Lincoln Park District's Recreation Center(on Primm Road just past the High School). We have a raffle block each month. Visitors are welcome! You can also meet us during Lincoln's Balloon Festival the last weekend of August at the Postville Courthouse. We are usually working at a quilt frame on the lawn. We also quilt at the Railsplitter Festival each fall in September at the Logan County Fairgrounds.   • Princeton
    Covered Bridge Quilt Guild. We have 150 members who pay $12 a year in dues. We meet at 7 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month at the St. Louis Catholic Church in Princeton. We have block of the month, classes including beginner quilting, Mystery Quilt instructions, Challenge projects, biannual quilt show in odd numbered years, and lots of Show and Tell. We have a quilt raffle in connection with our Show. We make quilts for local charities to raffle also. Guests are welcome for a $2.00 or $5.00 fee, depending on the speaker.
  • Robinson
    Illini Prairie Quilt Guild meets every 4th Monday of the month at 7pm. Block drawings, BOM, occasionally mystery projects and social time are wonderful. Our membership has grown to over 50 members strong. Dues are $12 per year. Occasionally, we have a person come and do a class (Jodie Barrows for example).     Starter Patch Quilt Guild.  Meets weekly, evenings.  Limited membership. 
    We have been meeting regularly, taking turns making quilts for each other, for several years. Entering in quilt shows, service projects, educational outings related to quilting, collecting quilts, and tasty snacks are sidelines for our guild, as we explore and grow within the artistic medium of quilting. We "Sisters of the Cloth" are our own theropy and support group as we collectively meet life's joys and challenges together.

    Fair City Quilters. We have about 45 members who pay $15 a year in dues. We meet at 7pm on the third Monday of the month (September to June) at the Federated Church in Sandwich. Each meeting is a opportunity to learn more about quilting. We offer workshops to our members twice a year. Our members work together to create our fundraiser quilt. We are about 45 members strong and this is the start of our 3rd year. We meet at the Christian Church in Taylorville at 7:00 both nights. We have a FQ lottery every month, strip exchanges, block exchanges, guild quilts, secret pals, classes, local trips and more.
