Thimbles and Friends Quilt Guild is a membership of 35 women from Southeastern Massachusetts who pay $35 per year in dues. We meet the first Saturday of the month @ 10am, Sept-May @ the Abington Library. We sponsor peer taught and professional workshops plus fundraising to assist in our annual charity program. Visitors are welcome.
The Pioneer Valley Quilt Guild meetings are at the Agawam Baptist Church, 760 Main Street, Agawam, MA on the first Wednesday of the month, September through June, at 6:30 PM. Dues are $20 per year. Guests and new members are always welcome. Our quilts have been donated to charities from our community service project, Quilts From The Heart. Members create and distribute 'comfort pillows' to medical facilities in the area for breast cancer patients. Our quilt show is held every other year (even number years). The Hands Across the Valley Quilters Guild has ~125 members from W. Mass. and beyond. Quilters' Connection. This 325 member guild has a large contemporary component.
