State-Wide: North Carolina Quilters is a state-wide guild which is open to individual, quilt club, group, or guild with an interest in quilting. We meet twice a year in March and September at Caraway Conference Center. Dues are $20.00. We arrive on Friday afternoon and end on Saturday afternoon.  A newsletter is published 5 to 6 times a year. State-Wide:  Western North Carolina Quilters Guild. Western North Carolina Quilters Guild. Founded in 1982, we are a group of more than 200 men and women who are interested in quilting. Our skills range from beginner to professional, but we all enjoy a good time, and we are good at sharing and helping one another. We meet on the third Thursday of each month with alternating day and evening meetings. Guests are welcome. A meeting schedule is available on our web site.     Stanly County Three Rivers Quilt Guild: We're a small quilt guild of about 29 members. We meet the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm at Christ Episcopal Church fellowship hall in Albemarle, NC located at 428 Pee Dee Ave. Yearly dues are $12. We do block of the month, challenges, special programs and workshops, as well some guest speakers. We make cuddle quilts for organizations and projects during the year.     Randolph Quilters Guild. We have about 50 members who pay $15 ($9 senior) a year in dues. We have informative meetings, workshops and a quilt show every other year.     Mountain Laurel Quilt Guild. This guild has members from Ash, Avery, Burke, and Watauga counties of NC and some from near by towns in TN.  We have about 45 members who pay $15 a year in dues.     Burnsville. Mountain Piecemakers Quilt Guild. We have about 40 members who pay $18 a year in dues.     Greenville Quilters Guild - Started in 1980, currently a roster of about 50 quilters.     Crystal Coast Quilters' Guild. We have 90 members who pay $15.00 a year in dues. We meet at 7pm on the third Thursday of the month at the Ann Street United Methodist Church in Beaufort. We have an annual quilt show, annual donation quilt, classes and workshops and donate quilts to wounded veterans in our area as well as to a domestic violence shelter. We also have a Tuesday morning group.

    A Gathering of Quilters meets every Thursday at the First United Methodist Church in downtown Murphy, NC. We currently have around 45 quilters. There are no dues, no officers-just come and visit a while or bring a project on which to work. Most bring a lunch. From 10-2 usually but if schools are closed because of weather we do not meet.     Tar River Piecemakers Quilting Guild. We are a new guild with about 50 members. We meet from 9:00 a.m. until noon on the second Saturday of the month at the Environmental Services Building at 1221 Thorpe Road in Rocky Mount. We have a program at each meeting and also make quilts to donate to local charitable organizations. Dues are $15 (Sept. 1 - Aug. 31); $7.50 (Mar. 1 - Aug. 31).     Starry Night Quilters. We meet the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm /social time followed by our meeting at 7:00 pm. Following our business meeting and program, we have show and tell by those present. Our guild participates in a on-going service project by making pillow cases to be donated to children at Brenner Children's Hospital in Winston Salem, NC; a raffle quilt every two years; and a "block of the year" which is drawn for and given to participating members at our December meeting. We are currently gathering sewing supplies to be donated to flood victims in Eastern North Carolina. Dues are $14.00 per year (payable in July.     Three Rivers Quilt Guild  We are a small guild with 29 members, but we get a lot done! We meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm at Highlands Baptist Church in the little town of New London, NC. Dues are $5.00 per year. New members are always welcome!     Patchwork Squares has about 25 members who pay 50 cents per meeting. We meet twice a month, the first and third Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. at the Sneads Ferry Presbyterian Church, have a workshop, eat lunch, business meeting, and show and tell. We have had two quilt raffles in the last year. Our charity project is the Barium Springs Childrens Home for abused and neglected children in Statesville, NC. We make quilts for the children, lap size, and baby size for the nursery, and so far have made over 100. We have hosted two beginners classes and welcome new members or visitors. The group has just started on a new national project making commerative quilts for the fallen heroes of the Iraq war who resided in North Carolina, who number almost 40 at this time.
